    3. yes we do relate, because everything we learned in high school is different from what we learned in college.
    4. we think standardized test and 5 paragraph essays were useless, but drafts were helpful.

  2. 1. i prefer writing in complete silence so i can hear my thoughts better.
    2.I had a gaming tournament i ended up writing whatever.
    3. I agree with kelsey diaz because high school is more for building character.
    4.The difference in Diaz article from lamotts would be that diaz states more of her opinion and lamott gives advice and encouragment to the reader

      "Redoing means cleaning up the paper and crossing out. It is looking at something and saying, no that has to go, or no, that is not right"(Sommer,1980,pg.381).

      Revising the paragraph, going through it again to check everything is right.

      When you're giving a speech it's usually whatever comes to mind in the moment you're giving it.. after the speech is said and done, you start to think about what could have been said that's why revision in speech is impossible.

      -linear models produce parody of writing
      - revision describes the written words from speech

      Methodology
      -you spot the differences between student writers and experienced writers by the amount of experience they have in writing
      -There are four revision operations: deletion,substitution,addition and reordering
      -writers interpreted their revisions were used to develop that was being called a scale of concerns for each writer

    Scratch out and do over again was a key point for revision strategies of student writers
    Reviewing and redoing the whole essay again.
    Repetition was something students were worried about.
    Vocabulary is a factor because most students do not have that big of a vocabulary.
    Reviewing and taking out words and using bigger words to make it look better.

    *defining through different revisions are a primary objective, one of the revision strategies is transitional sentences, requiring different theory of revision writing, repeating a sense of writing discovery over and over again.
